Privacy Policy for Baby Taste Log

Baby Taste Log is a family record-keeping app for baby first-food trials. This policy explains how the app handles information on your device and through iCloud sync.

Information You Enter

The app may store information you choose to enter, including baby nicknames, birthdays, gender selection, optional baby photos, food trial dates, foods tried, trial counts, amounts, preferences, notes, and possible reaction flags.

Local Storage and iCloud Sync

Your data is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled for your Apple ID and this app, the app may sync your data through Apple's CloudKit private database so that your records are available on devices signed into the same Apple ID.

The developer does not operate a server for this app and does not receive or access your baby profiles, photos, food trial records, or notes.

Photos

The app uses Apple's photo picker only when you choose a baby avatar from your photo library. The app does not scan your photo library. The selected image is stored as part of the baby profile and may be included in iCloud sync and JSON backups.

Backup Files

The app lets you export and import JSON backup files. A backup file may include baby profile information, food trial records, notes, and selected avatar image data. You control where exported files are saved and with whom they are shared.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

The app does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or in-app purchases. The app does not use your data for advertising or tracking.

Medical Disclaimer

The app is for family record keeping only. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment advice, allergy risk assessment, or emergency guidance. For medical questions, suspected allergic reactions, or concerns about high-allergen foods, please consult a pediatrician or allergist.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete baby profiles and records in the app. You can also delete the app from your device. Data synced through iCloud may also need to be removed from iCloud according to Apple's iCloud settings and retention behavior.
